Will most likely use for years to come. Love it. This cable is made extremely well. Thumb screws are easy to turn.
but I noticed it before i hooked it up and straightened the little metal wire to where i thought it should go and works fine
Very well made cable but for my need I should have purchased it in the 2 meter length. Title says it all.
Then, my fingers barely had room to turn the tightening screws.it sure would have helped it they hadn't gone for the fancy gold colored screws and had just used a simple plastic tightener that had slots in the ends for a screwdriver like most cable tighteners. The plastic surrounding the metal dvi connector is too wide to fit past the available space on my monitor. Also, as usual with Monster products, hugely overpriced. I'm sure this cable is very high quality, but c'mon design guys, get a brain. I had to take a knife to it in order to get it to fit into the dvi port on my samsung 22" monitor.
It is so large, it is difficult to slot into the video card of my desktop PC, almost to the point where I couldn't use it. There's a difference between being well built and being bulky for the sake of it. You'd certainly expect a monster cable to be well built and carry the signal well, and it does this nicely. I have had to unscrew the mount of my video card and bend it out of place to make it fit. I slimmer mount in future designs would make this a perfect cable. I'm carrying a DVI signal to a 37" inch LCD screen over 4 feet with no loss of signal. It really takes PC viewing to a new level.My only complaint is the size of the adaptor.
